Too much of this building smells like air plane food

University, oy.

So, I am now officially a U of R student with no major and no idea what I'm going to do, but I am arguably moving my life in a somewhat forward manner.

I have for the second time now, quit at Smitty's, but this is for good I think, there is a note of finality in the air surrounding it, and that s more or less for the best. I will miss the people and the free food, but there is not much from stopping from continuing relationships, and if certain people are working, my food practically will be free. So, that is as they that.

I'm enjoying my classes. All of them seem like I have advanced from High School, at least a little. Save English, which is basically like I'm still stuck in some some remote room of Sheldon, just with no Seaborne there to entertain me. Oh well.

I'm not sure who all is actually reading this, if anyone, I'm sorry for the sparse updates for those of you who are taking time to read these ramblings which you probably already know. If you are reading this I'm pretty sure we have plans for brunchfast tomorrow. If not, we'll talk later.

And they shall know how we are tierd.

I need to stop working, last week was, I think a 70 hour week, which I must tell I was moste excited about. That wouldn't be so bad, it's like being back at school and working at the
Smitt's all the time, but at least school was some what interesting and my friends were there and I was, at times, learning, also, I usually got more than 5 hours of sleep, even when I was religiously watching the Daily Show.

I enjoy the summer and am looking forward to the rest of it, but I'm pretty ready to go back to school, it was a nice hiatus and I did accomplish one of my life goals, but I am pretty pumped to go back to school, and learning and that whole experience.

Woo for wild and crazy parties. I hope that whoever was there and reading this, had a good time, because I did. And I also hope that I didn't embarrass myself to badly, but what is life without a few embarrassments?

Laptop Revolution

I now have in my possession a shiny new MacBook that I'm pretty much in love with. Hurree!

I must agree with everyone who says they are awesome, for they truly are, thank you Steve Jobs.

I must also agree with everyone who said Knocked Up was hilarious, because it was, oh man, I have not laughed that hard in awhile. And I've been watching a lot of the Office lately.

Tonight is Harry Potter night, and I'm pretty stoked. Not as stoked for next Saturday though. Weee! The joy is dampened by the fact that I have to work at 9 in the morning until 4, and then go straight to RPAC to help cater and bartend for my other boss for a wedding he's going. Who knows how long I'll be there. And then! I get to work at 9 again. Woohoo! Should be a fun time, I will be carrying HP with me everywhere I gond reading and gasping all the while. I'm a little to excited about, especially considering I took about a 4 year break from Mr. Potter, but oh vell!

I really think my boss is trying to convert me, it's not just the constant Christian rock, but he talks a lot about creationism, and how he wants to be a motivational speaker/preacher and he was 'practicing' some of his speeches on me the other day. But I remain resolute! Gooo hethonism! Hurrah!

That's all friends, enjoy today, whatever the day is that you are reading this.

Only two balloons.

An explaination: the emoticon for "Heart" is and < (less than) and 3 (three).
I felt like being hip, and cool and possibly with it. It appears however, that I am not.

I have rather poor blog keeping skills, and will hopefully improve that.

I am currently working! Woot! And have been doing so for almost three weeks straight. I currently hold jobs at Fratelli's Caffe in the CBC building and lovely Smitty's. I work roughly 40 hours a week and seven out of seven days. However, it turns out that my parents know people who have fairly high positions at the MacKenzie Art Gallery, and not get my hopes up, could possibly get me a job there. Which would be pretty sweet if I do say so myself.

Those of you (which would actually be ALL of you) who didn't see Young Galaxy and In-Flight Safety missed a night of cock out rocking. It was fucking awesome. Young Galaxy were way better than In-Flight Safety. They were all incredibly musicians and you could FEEL THEIR PASSION. Also, they just went crazy on the last song and one of the guitarists gave his guitar to Matt Newman who was in the front who proceeded to shred profusely. So all in all, it was awesome, and my vinyl collection has doubled in size!

If things work out and the people at cjtr dug my application I could very well have a radio show, which would be again, pretty sweet. So here's hoping! If I get one, you will all have to come on and talk, and bring music.

In the past three weeks I have downloaded...holy fuck 55 albums. I almost have a week worth of music. And there are so many more things to download. A dozen shoegaze artists, and that's just shoegaze! Christ! There is too much music.

I think I want to get involved in sound art and possibly video making. And making getting back into photography would be fun too.

I have seen all of you far too little lately, something should be done about this I think.
