Hey ya.

I guess this just shows the quality of lyrical song writing.

I'm starring at moonbeams, and looking out to sea.

I watched Once the other day, and, it was wonderful. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. Like now.

Did you know that I have more than likely seen every episode of Star Trek: The Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager? That is a lot of nerd. I'm reminded of this because I've spent most of my day watching Voyager episodes and feeling sick. Someone just said in all earnestness, "Don't die on me now! Breathe, damn it breathe!"

Anyways. I saw Holy Fuck last night and they were quite awesome. The crowd was super interesting because there was the such a diverse group of people. From uber-hippies, to a-typical punks, to slovenly indie rockers, to clean cut indie rockers to business men! And such is the greatness of shear awesome music and power. The first of the openers was awesome, the second was mixed terribly and hurt me. Yup. Oh yeah, I just saw a commercial for what is sure to be an excellent movie, Larry The Cable Guy: Witness Protection. I don't understand how movies like that will make more money than something like Half Nelson or The Squid and the Whale. Lowest common denominator I suppose.

It seems that at some point I should do some reading during Reading Week. Even if it's for pleasure. Speaking of which I bought a illustrated novel called Blue Pills: A Positive Love Story. It is quite refreshing.

I'm sad to say that Polaroid instant film is being discontinued. Hopefully someone like Fuji will pick it up. Polaroid is the stupidest company with the best products.

I don't want to work. Sleeping and feeling better would be better.

I am a guitar hero. Seriously.

Why am I still awake...oh yes...Rock Band is the greatest thing to happen to video games ever. And the worst thing for my sleep schedule and vitamin D intake. I recently stumbled across Girls in Hawaii on a full album download site and they are awesome. They are making my post Dodge Ball / Heavy Drinking day more bearable. And are shear gold in comparison to whatever the DJ was playing last night. Anyways, long story short, I drank enough to kill several small children, won an iPod shuffle I have no use for and now I'm incredibly sore and exhausted.

I can't really sleep though, and because Clair has postponed List Friday and I don't want her to think she has the corner on the "Endearing List" market, here are some lists that are hopefully endearing.

Things I Find Comforting:
- listening to people talk
- cable television
- hotel rooms
- Sufjan Stevens
- fireplaces
- The Exchange
- reading by lamp light
- natural fibers
- CBC talk radio playing quietly in the background whilst driving
- my Tigger mug, hopefully with Earl Gray tea in it
- Spring
- rain
- Autumn

Things I Enjoy Doing:
- walk
- listen to people talk
- organize my cd collection (approx. 350+ physical cds)
- take pictures
- make obscure references
- find trivia and pointless facts
- read
- watch television
- buy cds and do research to buy more while listening to previously bought cds
- think logically and rationally about highly improbable situations
- bike
- play scrabble
- watch Canada's Worst Handiman and various cooking shows, generally mute while listening to podcasts

This is by no means a comprehensive list.

2 Fast 2 Furious

This movie is probably one of the worst things ever put on film. Seriously, it makes me cringe more than seeing that eye get cut open in that Dali film. On the bright side, Los Campensinos! are like a shining ray of pop gold.

I was hoping to be extol the greatness that is Hayden's live show, but alas and alack, it was not meant to be, and I ended up getting drunk with stoners from Sheldon who are quite fun to be around.

It seemed like my other plans to flee the city were crumbling but I am still going to Moose Jaw, which I think is much needed. My only fear is literally freezing to death in a snow drift somewhere. Cold related deaths in Saskatchewan cannot occur without snow drifts.

Radio show, Tuesdays, 7 to 8. Yup. iTunes tells me that my computer now has 5800 songs on it which equals almost 16 days of music. It's kind of intimidating, because there are at least 1000 songs I haven't heard. That's all for now, off to Moose Jaw.

Oh yea, this video made me laugh really, really hard. I think there needs to be more polyrhythmic songs like this. It's the wave of the future man.

Have I ever mentioned how much I like Lou Barlow?

Because he is really, really awesome. Only a vessel of vast awesomeness would name his album Emoh.

The internet told me today that I have very limited taste when it comes to genre. I like to to think that this is not true, but I think it is. But if I weren't open minded I wouldn't ever listen to a dub-step album based solely on the name alone. However! Burial's Untrue is quite brilliant. But enough about music.

After 5:46 p.m. today sucked. At the aforementioned time I listened to a message on my cellular telephone (I left my phone in my coat pocket for several hours and managed to miss three phone calls, the most I've had in day) from my father saying that around 3:30 p.m. my father was taking my mother to the hospital for some reason unknown to me. The effectively ruined my day. It also didn't help that it was busy at work and had people asking me for things every two minutes which reduces my productivity drastically and they don't seem to realize this. The moment the rush done I had a literal tonne of dishes and bitch work other people were too lazy to do. In the end I was there a half hour longer than I should have been and not one offer or once of help. Fuck.

So yes, I'm sitting in my room, fuming and distraught because I don't know what's going on with my mom and have to be awake and functional in seven or hours.

This made me feel better though.

I will write more. Later.
