And I am officially 20. Oh my god. I kind of just had a nervous break down. Okay, I'm done.
I should be asleep by now, I have to be writing a final in under 7 hours. WHY AM I AWAKE.
Anyways I don't know how I feel about this whole birthday thing and how I have to do things and feel emotions. Now I know how Hillary Clinton feels! See! Topical humour! Take THAT The Daily Show.
Uh. Hum. Yea I don't know what to do or whatever. Suggestions?
Clair, I was watching Mom Date because I watch MTV whenever I feel like consuming something completely mindless and lacking in substance yet somehow is a thing that exists, much like when I consume fast food.
Seriously, I'm not going to sleep for awhile, I could watch some more Firefly. Which I did tonight after my brain turned into mush and could no longer absorb English things....anyways I love that show so much! It makes me want to be in grade 12 again and listen to Phoenix!
Ben Gibbard covered an American Analog Set for the split EP he did with Andrew Kenny and it is sublime. I will be playing it tomorrow.

Mom Date
Actually it's called date my mom. A guy goes out with people's moms and then choose to go out with a girl based on that. Dear lord. It's quite scripted and full of so many bad puns and soccer moms with too much money and who are trying to live through their daughters. Apparently the only important quality of someone to date is looks. I kind of want to cry. MTV, are you being ironic? I really, really hope so.

I have had some good days.
What! Good days! Crazyness!
What have done, I'm sure your asking, well I shall enlighten you!
Monday:
Wrote a (good) in-class essay on a book I had finished 8 hours earlier.
Was taught psychology by someone who looks suspiciously like Edward Norton in the Illusionist via a 1980's video. His name is actually Phillip Zimbardo or something.
Went for lunch with Cecilia
Ate ice cream
Accidentally made someone think I'm gay. Ooops.
Had a good night at work. Le gasp!
Tuesday:
Had a lot of non-classes and hardly paid attention.
Had a 40 minute conversation with my Sociology T.A. and a cute girl in the class. We dicussed many things like what is wrong with high schools and how to fix them and how the left hate Michael Moore. Lots of fun stuff.
Realized that I'm screwed for my English final and actually did some studying. It was nice.
Radio show! It was a good one too, so if you missed it...well you missed out. According to Curtis at least.
The nadir (is it ironic that the word that means "the opposite of apex" is pronounced the same as the presidential candidate who ultimately cost Al Gore the election and in essence brought about an untold number of woes and terrors upon the world?) of this day was finding out that the next Feist concert is going to be at the Brandt Center.
And then ate ice cream and drove around with Curtis and Cecilia and discussed the homophobic MLA and my cuteness.
I went for a walk around the lake with Kaiya
Wednesday
Kaiya came to class
Went to the mall
Finally legally obtained the new Los Campensinos! and Freak and Geeks
Had a good night at work, which was spent mostly spilling things and talking to the fun new dishwasher.
Went home early!
Watched television.
Wednesday
It's raining and lovely
I didn't do very good on my re-write. Only got a 67%. But I'm okay with it, I dropped the 300 Shakespeare class because I think it would destroy me, sorry Clair. But if people are looking at taking a 200 level Philosophy or Psychology class, take one with me!
I'm going to buy the new Breeders album today, and I'm looking forward to it.
I have tonight off, and I will do a lot of reading and watching of Freaks and Geeks.
Classes are done soon, finals will make me cry. But oh man, 4 months of summer. I hope it's going to be a good one.
When is the Folk Fest line-up announced?

13 Blues For Thirteen Moons
This is where I'm going to music nerd all over you guys. This is prompted by me willing the new Silver Mt. Zion album into existence at the Cornwall HMV, which heavy metal Dustin almost bought.
I've lost my music reviewers voice and will just say this: The new album is good. It is very clearly a SMZ album, yet it is separate and distinct from the other albums. There are riffs and simple sounds, as opposed to the overarching method the past albums. It is aggressive yet subtle. I like it. I just wanted to get this out there.

I've brought the sun.
Spring! I want to ride my bike.
If I could I think I would spend all day watching reality cooking shows. I especially Ace of Cakes because interesting attractive people make cakes and jokes FOR A LIVING. LIKE, COME ON.
Now there's a terrible mom cleaning product commercial on and it actually hurts me.
They just dropped a cake! Oh noes!
I got called into work for about three hours today, I didn't need to be there but I learned how to make pizzas and find out that some people still think they are better than me...cough cough...Anyways, I think I'm doing good for never really cooking like this before.
My stress and stomach aches has subsided now that my essay rewrite is handed in and my creative writing is worth 85% but my poor editing brought be down to a 77.5%.
I don't think I'm going to have a weekend night for awhile, I have become a regular closer, which of course includes Friday and Saturday oh well.
It seems like there is nothing positive ever in this blog, but when I become sane again, meaning when classes are done.
Is this a post?
And Clair, I am much more of an old man than you, although I don't know if this is a good thing.

April Fool's!
I think I am finally grasping the subtleties of April Fool's humour! I'm glad we can be friends again!
I think...
...I'm going to become a Catholic, a venture capitalist and a member of the Britney Spears fan club.
