You can determine where a river once was, just by examining rocks.*

Shawn was in town last night. It was really good to see him, for the most part. At times he's as smart and intellectual and engaging as I remember and we connected perfectly. At others, he is frustrating and acts like a 12 year old. At least this was the case last night the unfortunate behaviour could have been brought on by the presence of Sweaty-Nose and him being around people who he has seen in quite some time. Also, fun fact, Sweaty-Nose is really homophobic, who'd a thunk it.

My brain feels mushy from forcing Existential philosophy and Social Psychology into it. Yet! I'm more or less done with the latter and will be focusing on the former tomorrow and none of it will really matter come 5:00 p.m. Monday.

I wish I had more to say but my life is more or less reading and writing and then talking about what I'm reading and writing with Curtis Hanna. I'm sleepy, maybe some Clone High will help sooth me into a nice sleep.

Notes*

The title of this post is from this and more or less encompasses my outlook on life right now. I think it goes well with my motto for life which is More Action! Less Tears! the name of my second favourite song by A Silver Mt. Zion.

Remember when you guys all left me alone up in the tree and sweaty nose wouldn't leave me alone. Yeah, good times.
