Having the schedule I do, I was able to par-take in an interesting survey today. It involved looking at 50 or so pictures and answering questions using the pictures and then explaining a little bit of the meaning behind your choice. It took an interesting turn when I had to choose the picture that I thought best described God. It was hard to do, because I had a feeling they would ask me that and had already formulated my answer and then scrambled to find a picture to describe it. Anyways. The survey was interesting, but following conversation afterwards was even more so. I've never been one to shy away from a discussion like this, and was pleasantly suprised to find the two people doing the survey interesting and fairly open minded. There was a mutual respect I think, and that rarely happens when I get involved in these situations. No one was trying to prove anything, no salvation was offered and it was refreshing.
On a related topic, where should I go to church this weekend? One Christian and one non!

Argh. French sucks. I wanted to look at the pictures!
You should go to Catholic church. It is pretty freaky.
Or United, because it is actually kind of lovely sometimes, while still maintaining all the Christian weirdness.
